Acadian Ambulance welcomes Missy Young, RN, as Director of Business Development for its Louisiana West region.
In her new role, Young leads business development and community relations initiatives across Acadian’s Hub City and North, Central, and Southwest Louisiana service areas. She will focus on strengthening partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers, first responders, and community organizations to advance access to high-quality emergency medical services.
A registered nurse, Young joins Acadian with more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including emergency care and case management. She brings expertise in patient care, operations, and business development leadership.
Passionate about relationship building and community engagement, Young is excited to connect healthcare partners with innovative solutions that enhance patient care and improve access to services.
“Nursing gave me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while building lasting relationships with families and healthcare teams,” Young said. “I’m honored to be part of the Acadian family and look forward to serving our communities while building strong relationships with our healthcare partners.”
Young resides in the Lafayette area with her husband and three sons. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and playing pickleball.
