At Acadian Ambulance, there are many career options and paths you can take. As a driver, you can pursue becoming a Van Operator or Non-EMT Driver.

Our van operators provide non-emergency transportation services for wheelchairs, bed-bound or nursing home patients traveling to doctor’s appointments, physical therapy or other medical treatments.

Van operators should have their CPR card or be willing to obtain it. Candidates must have at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record and preferably experience driving company vehicles.

Van operators also have the opportunity to further their careers with Acadian by going to EMT school and earning their certification while working.

Our non-EMT drivers provide emergency transportation services for patients.

Non-EMT drivers should have their CPR card. Candidates must have at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record and preferably experience driving company vehicles.

Non-EMT drivers have the opportunity to further their careers with Acadian by going to EMT school and earning their certification while working.
