On Monday, August 7, the Jackson County Board of Supervisors recognized Paramedic of the Year Coty Peardon and EMT of the Year Tyler Niblett for their outstanding work and accomplishments while serving the citizens of Jackson County.

Board President Troy Ross spoke of how impactful Coty has been in mentoring Tyler. Speaking to the many members of the public in attendance, Troy explained the prestige of the Paramedic and EMT of the Year awards within such a large company.

“The fact that both Coty and Tyler are such an important part of the Jackson County Acadian Team should make the citizens of Jackson County feel confident and comfortable with such caliber of medics,” Troy said, to loud applause.

Coty and Tyler each took a brief moment to say a few words. Both thanked the Jackson County Board of Supervisors for the recognition, as well as the large crowd in attendance for their continued support of Acadian Ambulance.
