Starting Pay for EMTs

Starting pay for EMTs is $30,800 and higher

($37,500 in New Orleans)

with an average annual compensation of
$40,000 – $50,000*

Starting Pay for Paramedics

Starting pay for Paramedics is $50,300 and higher*

($58,100 in New Orleans)

with an average annual compensation of
$60,000 – $80,000*

Become an EMT in just 4 months

Through the National EMS Academy, you can train to be an emergency medical technician and then go to paramedic school while you’re working with Acadian. Our programs allow employees to further their education and gain certification as they grow with the company.
