Great Pay & Benefits
Starting pay for EMTs is $34,320* ($38,278 in New Orleans), with an average annual compensation of $40,000 – $50,000*.
Starting pay for a Paramedic is $50,200 ($58,100 in New Orleans)*, with an average annual compensation of $60,000 – $70,000*.
*Pay rates vary by location with higher rates in select markets
