At the Acadian Companies annual meeting on May 7, Lori McCoy was recognized as the Acadian Ambulance 2024 Dispatcher of the Year. She was presented with her award by Vice President of Air Services and Communications Michael Sonnier.
McCoy has been with Acadian for nearly 15 years and works out of the Southeast Texas communication center.
“Lori is dedicated to setting up the next generation of dispatchers to be successful,” Sonnier said. “She goes above and beyond with her training program, teaching team members in how to lead, how to provide customer service and how to bring a higher level of service to both the callers and internal customers. Her motto is that, no matter which uniform you are wearing or which dispatch center you work in, your goal every day should be to make it a good day for everyone you encounter.”
