Acadian Ambulance Texas has promoted Jay Lewis to Operations Director for its Houston, Southeast Texas, and Tennessee service areas, as well as its Communication Center in Beaumont.
Lewis joined Acadian in April 2002. Over the course of his career, he has worked as a field paramedic, dispatcher, flight paramedic and operations manager. He most recently worked as Air Med’s Flight Line Supervisor.
He also holds certifications as a critical care paramedic and a certified flight paramedic.
Acadian Ambulance President Justin Back announced the promotion of Lewis, saying, “Jay’s contributions to our Texas team have been a huge part of our success in the region.”
Lewis is a graduate of Opelousas High School and the National EMS Academy.
