Traditional Paramedic Program
At Acadian Ambulance, there are many career options and paths you can take. As a current EMT, you are able to enroll in our Paramedic program. Anyone interested in enrolling in the Paramedic class MUST be currently nationally registered as an EMT AND complete Human Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) prior to entering the class.
Our traditional paramedic classes are held two days a week for 12 months, on alternating shifts (Monday & Tuesday/Wednesday & Thursday), from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. These classes follow a 12-hour work schedule, which allows you to work full-time while attending class.
