At Acadian Ambulance Texas and in partnership with Baptist Health System, we are committed to caring for your heart, but the best chance of survival from a heart attack starts in the community. Pressure, squeezing , aching, or burning in the chest; a feeling of fullness; pain that travels down one of both arms; jaw pain; nausea; back pain; shortness of breath; or excessive fatigue can all be early signs of a heart attack. Recognize these signs quickly and call 9-1-1 for assistance. If you see someone collapse, start hands-only CPR immediately until EMS arrives.
