At the Acadian Companies annual meeting on June 2, David Roy was recognized as the Acadian Ambulance 2022 Dispatcher of the Year. He was presented with his award by Vice President of Air Services and Communications Michael Sonnier.
Roy is a resident of Scott, LA, and has been with Acadian for 32 years. He previously worked as an EMT and paramedic before switching to a dispatch role in 1998.
“David is an integral member of the Lafayette Communication Center,” said Sonnier. “He dispatches all eight of our zones and assists the dispatch supervisors when needed.
