Acadian Ambulance Service has named Eric Thibodeaux as its regional vice president overseeing its Houston, Southeast Texas and Tennessee markets. Thibodeaux currently serves as director of operations for Acadian’s Tennessee service area.

Thibodeaux,a native of Eunice, Louisiana, began his career at Acadian Ambulance in 2005 as an EMT. He has worked as a paramedic and an operations supervisor in Louisiana and as an operations manager and director in Texas. He led Acadian’s expansion into Tennessee in 2019 and recently added the role of director of operations for Houston and Southeast Texas.

“Eric cares about his team members and is deeply committed to our mission of saving lives,” said Acadian Ambulance President Justin Back. “He has risen to every challenge that has been presented to him, and I have no doubt that he’ll continue his track record of success in our Houston, Southeast Texas and Tennessee communities.”

Acadian Ambulance is one of the largest ambulance services in the nation, providing transportation and medical service to areas in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Tennessee. They are employee-owned and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services.
