On January 23, 2026, Acadian Ambulance held a First Responder Appreciation Lunch at the Mowad Civic Center to celebrate local frontline workers.
The event brought together first responders, hospital personnel, and Allen Oaks nursing home staff for a meal in recognition of their efforts to the community. The gathering was made possible through Mayor David Vidrine, who provided the venue for the afternoon.
Attendees were eligible for door prize giveaways, which were provided by Acadian and ExxonMobil.
“Events like these highlight the appreciation we all share for those who dedicate their lives to keeping our community safe and healthy,” shared Community Relations Supervisor Chris LeDee.
