Acadian Ambulance’s teams across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi celebrated National First Responders Day to honor its first responder partners in fire, law enforcement and 911 communications.

Acadian celebrated throughout the week with appreciation events across Lafayette, Ouachita, Evangeline, Calcasieu, Avoyelles, Grant, Beauregard, Vernon, Sabine, Ascension, and Livingston parishes in Louisiana; Jackson and Harrison County in Mississippi; and Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, Texas.

Local teams hosted cookouts, breakfasts, and appreciation gatherings, or traveled to provide lunch and treats to departments, to honor paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and other first responders. Many events included visits from local officials, law enforcement and fire departments, all coming together to recognize the men and women who respond to emergencies and crises in our communities.

“We’re proud to celebrate our first responder partners not just today, but every day,” said Acadian Ambulance President Justin Back.

Through these celebrations, Acadian strengthened its connection with local communities, honoring the shared dedication to making a difference.
