When we helped our first patients back in 1971, our goal was to provide our community with the best and most advanced emergency health care available. Since then, Acadian has grown to care for many communities across the country. Our commitment to our communities, and the people who make them special, is what drives us to be the best we can be in our industry.
As a demonstration of our community investment, our paramedics stand by at college and high school athletic events as well as major community activities such as fairs and festivals with Med Carts—our fleet of fully equipped emergency medical vehicles. These Med Carts allow advanced life support equipment to be maneuvered through crowded areas to victims of accident or illness. To request stand-by service, contact us with date, time, location, and description of the event.
We are proud to provide multiple EMS and sports medicine scholarships for full-time students at many of the universities in our communities.
As fully-invested members of the communities in which we live and organizations we support, all of us in the Acadian family are proud to give back through volunteering time, resources, and heart. Among the many organizations we support, our strong partnerships with the United Way and Relay for Life have provided us opportunities to donate, advocate, and volunteer as a company and as individuals. Acadian employees have volunteered for and served on boards for decades, and we are proud to be affiliated with the work done through these organizations.
