What is a Van Operator?
Our van operators provide non-emergency transportation services for wheelchair, bed bound or nursing home patients traveling to doctor’s appointments, physical therapy or other medical treatments.
Van operators should have their CPR card or be willing to obtain it. Candidates must have at least one year of driving experience, a clear driving record and preferably experience driving company vehicles.
Van operators also have the opportunity to further their careers with Acadian by going to EMT school and earning their certification while working.
