Nine of Acadian Ambulance's service area districts received the AHA's Mission: Lifeline® EMS Award for implementing quality improvement measures for the treatment of patients who experience severe heart attacks.
The Louisiana Association of Nationally Registered EMTs (LANREMT) announced that Acadian Ambulance Dispatcher David Roy has been selected as their Telecommunicator of the Year, and Quality Improvement Coordinator John Witt has been selected as the EMS Instructor/Coordinator of the Year.
Acadian Ambulance held its annual luncheon at the Cajundome on Thursday, May 18, 2017, to recognize its paramedics and EMTs who display exemplary attitudes, tireless work ethic and dedication, and provide excellent patient care.
On Wednesday, May 3, the Carencro Business Association hosted a ribbon cutting with Acadian Ambulance management and EMS staff to celebrate the company moving back into Carencro and into a bigger station.
